When Giulia Garofano’s son, Jason Di Tullio, much beloved pro-soccer player and assistant coach, was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in 2021, Giulia became his full-time caregiver until his untimely death the following year. “I’m writing this book because I know what it means to be a caregiver,” explains Giulia. “As a mom I don’t even know if using the word ‘caregiver’ is right.
