Clay “Big Thunder” Peters, a 33-year old recovering drug and alcohol addict, hitchhikes across Canada from Vancouver to Montreal with the goal to become the world heavyweight boxing champion. A colorful and charismatic Clay convinces a world-renowned boxing coach to train him, and a young filmmaker to follow his story.
