TWO MONTREAL SHORTS, TWO MONTREAL PREMIERES, SAME MONTREAL FILM FESTIVAL>>>

Two Montreal-made short films – THE ECSTASY NOTE by Geoffrey Uloth & THE GRANDFATHER PARADOX by Jean-François Da Sylva – will be making their Montreal premiere at the Fantasia Film Festival.

Director Geoffrey Uloth is no stranger to film festival goers. His last two short films, the award-winning WILDFLOWERS and EVERGON have screened at over two-dozen international film festivals.

Jean-François Da Sylva may not be as well known as Geoffrey Uloth when it comes to directing, but he has been on more movie sets than he cares to admit, and in various capacities… from 1st Assistant Director to gaffer to actor.

Coincidently, Jean-François and Geoffrey each worked on the other’s film as 1st assistant director, and both films were produced by Agata De Santis. Needless to say, these two films were destined to make their hometown premiere during the same short film program.

Both films are screening on:
SUNDAY, JULY 23 @ 14h45
@ Concordia University’s Salle J.A. De Sève
1400 de Maisonneuve Ouest

The producers of THE ECSTASY NOTE gratefully acknowledge the support of: SODEC - Société de développement des entreprises culturelles – Québec Programme d’aide aux jeunes créateurs; Canada Council for the Arts; Conseil des arts et des lettres Québec; Québec Film and Television tax Credit; National Film Board of Canada Filmmaket Assistance Program (FAP Quebec); The Canadian Film or Video Production Tax Credit; Main Film.
